Privacy Notice

This notice explains how personal information is handled on gambleverdict.com. The controller is Firnova Studios FZ-LLC, Al Thuraya Tower 1, Dubai Media City, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, reachable at [email protected].

What is collected

The site has no sign-up, no comments and no newsletter, so in most visits the only personal information involved is technical. For every request the web server writes a log line: IP address, browser string, URL, referrer, timestamp. Those lines are deleted after a short retention window; their only jobs are operating the servers and tracing abuse. If you email the desk, your address and message are kept while the matter is dealt with and for a reasonable time afterwards, so that a correction can be traced back to its source.

Cookies and local storage

Four cookies are set by the server: mz_vid (a random browser identifier, one year), mz_src (how the visit arrived, 30 days), and, once a reader follows a /go/ link, the technical pair mozbiz_session and XSRF-TOKEN, that clear themselves in about 20 hours. The cookie notice saves one key, gv.ck.1, in local storage once dismissed. There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel and no advertising tag. Embedded YouTube videos on some older guides follow YouTube's own policy when played. Details are on the cookie policy.

How it is used

To serve pages, keep the site secure, count visits and clicks on operator buttons in aggregate, and answer messages. Personal information is not sold, rented or used to build advertising profiles.

Who else receives it

Hosting and network providers process data on the publisher's behalf. Operators you reach via /go/ are told the referral came from Gamble Verdict and apply its own privacy policy from then on. Data goes to public authorities solely under a legal obligation.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete personal information about you by writing to [email protected]. Residents of states with their own privacy statutes, such as California, can use the rights those statutes provide through the same address. Cookies can be removed in your browser at any time without affecting what you can read.

Minors

The desk writes for readers past their 21st birthday and does not knowingly collect information from minors.

Updates
